A Louisiana native with extensive experience in the advertising and marketing industry,     I graduated from McNeese University in Lake Charles with a degree in                      Business Administration.
I followed that with post-graduate work in International Relations at Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge. While in the Pelican State, I was an ad agency partner before opening my own shop, Ideas Etc. Clients included various political offices, retail shops, a parish coroner, and a racetrack.

I moved to Houston in 1987 to become Regional Manager of the Bozell Worldwide office for the Chrysler Dealer Associations, for whom I spearheaded several successful advertising campaigns. In the early 90’s I opened my own creative services firm, Ideas & MORE, where I have served a variety of clients, some of whom are represented here.

I've been practicing the disciplines of advertising and marketing since the late 1970’s. Experience spans large Fortune 100 and 500 companies to entrepreneurial startups. I'm experienced in broadcast, print, Web, and outdoor media plus a plethora of industries such as Oil, Gas and Energy Suppliers, Consumer, Retail, and Automotive.

While I've worked with clients in both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) arenas, helping clients in the Oil Patch has always been a part of my experience. That experience comes from both South Louisiana and Houston, Texas.

Crafting marketing messages and working in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) on product/sales material, Web content and newsletter/magazine articles, I have produced work for companies like Halliburton, Bechtel, Matcor, Siemens, Valerus, GeoQuest, Spectra Energy, and Baker Hughes.

A published author and presenter of creativity and marketing to various local and regional ad clubs (like AAF-Rio Grande Valley), civic and educational groups, I have also presented at the American Creativity Association International Conference, the City of Houston Administrative Professionals Conference, and a special workshop hosted by the National Science and Technology Association.

Talks have included: “Kick Starting Creativity Without Screwing Up the Idea” and “Creativity & Technology: Learning to Play Well in the Internet Sandbox.”

Whether it's conveying clear messaging and creative ideas for print and broadcast advertising, Web site development content, or providing useful tips and techniques to enhance one's creativity or presentations, I'm at your service.
